HYPNOSENSUALITY 101:
HYPNOSIS SAFETY
Experiencing hypnosis as the
subject can be a very exciting, very enjoyable adventure.
However, as with anything shared in the BDSM world, it is important to
remember that your hypnotic experiences should be Safe, Sane, and
Consensual.
Knowing
your
hypnotist is the most
crucial component of safe hypnotic
endeavors. Just as you (hopefully) would not allow someone you
didn't know and trust to tie you down and proceed to do whatever they
wished with your physical body, it's equally prudent not to
allow someone you do not know and trust to access your mind via
hypnosis.
How do you get to know
and trust the hypnotist? Perhaps you could begin by
interacting with them in general chat. Get a "feel" for the type
of person they are. Ask questions about the person offering to
trance you (how did you learn, how long have you been doing this, what
do you plan to do during this first session, what happens if I want to
stop)? Ask others you trust about the individual and their
reputation. If anything seems wrong, then don't allow the
person access to your mind until any issues are resolved. Be wary
of a person who offers to trance you the first time you meet
them. (Their intentions may be good, however many, many times
this is something a hypnotic predator will do.) Don't rush
into anything.
Trust and rapport
between the hypnotist and subject are of extreme
importance not only for safety, but to help ensure a nice, deep,
enjoyable hypnotic experience. Take your time and proceed slowly.
What else can you do to
help keep yourself safe? Provide
yourself a hypnotic safety net. The hypnotic MP3 below is FREE
and was developed to help place suggestions deep in your subconscious
mind that will help protect you during trance. This MP3 and the
suggestions therein should not be used to bypass the above guidelines,
but should instead augment them. You may wish to listen to
this MP3 several times to reinforce the suggestions.
So how can you know that
my MP3 is safe or that I am a safe
hypnotist? First, feel free to ask others if they know me and if
they've experienced this MP3 session. It won't offend me in the
least. I encourage you to do just that. I've hypnotized
many people and have always done so in an ethical manner with their
safety in mind. I have been hypnotizing people for several
years now. While I have no formal training or
certification, I
have
studied and learned from many very knowledgeable hypnotists. I
make no guarantees regarding this MP3 - remember, it isn't designed to
replace good judgment. It's designed to offer you an extra
buffer. NOTHING can replace sound, sensible judgment.
