Recently a couple of people mentioned this video to me, describing it as "totally hot" and "uber sexy". While it had some brief scenes that I thought were sexy, overall I didn't agree with their assessment. I did like the song, but her dancing especially was not something that worked for me. What do you think?

Thanks for all your recent comments. There are several that I want to respond to, but it'll be just a bit longer before I do as there are lots of major changes taking place in my life and I'm still adjusting to them. I'm determined to keep on blogging, though, as it helps keep me grounded in some ways. I'm not sure I can explain why, but as my dad always said, "it is what it is".

I'm not sure why I like this song so much. I think it's the cheery peppiness of it. Maybe it's because it's like that Chili's Babyback Ribs song - it's just something that gets stuck in your mind and you can't get it out!

Last year's American Idol winner, Jordin Sparks, has had quite a year. Her debut album is coming out soon. Her single, Tattoo, has already risen to number 27 on Billboard's Hot 100 list. She's met Diana Ross and Steve Jobs. Now if she can only get a date for the prom, she'll be set.



Chris may not have won the American Idol competition last year but he certainly made a splash at last night's AMA awards.
