Hypnosis and the Doubter

On Saturday Bill, Graham, and I went to the Bunk guy's house to talk to he and his friends about hypnosis. Since he'd told me that he wanted me to speak to some friends who were interested in the subject, I anticipated a fairly laid back, fun visit with some casual discussion and perhaps some demonstrations. Bill and Graham have been hypnotized a number of times and both are good subjects so I thought demonstrating with them would be more effective than a technical explanation alone.

Besides Bunk guy four other people were present - two women and two men. While they had a lot of questions, all but one seemed at least open to the idea that hypnosis was "real" and that it could be used for both creative and recreational purposes. I thought I was pushing the envelope by addressing the recreational (aka erotic) uses of hypnosis but they seemed fairly laid back. They weren't, however, laid back enough for me to bring up the D/s uses ;)

One guy (I'll call him Thomas) was a true skeptic, doubting there were any uses for hypnosis or even that people were genuinely hypnotized. I assured him that I understood his doubts and had spoken with many people over the years who felt the same way. I finally coaxed a reluctant reassurance that he would at least try to keep an open mind.

We talked briefly about how hypnosis worked, what it was, and what it wasn't. When I finally offered a demonstration, all but Thomas seemed eager to watch.

Bill has been hypnotized so many times over the past few years that he is quite easy to hypnotize. He has verbal and physical triggers that help him relax and also those that take him completely under. I thought that would probably be the easiest place to start, so I reached over and ran my fingertip in a slow circle on the back of his hand. Immediately his eyes closed and his breathing began to slow. I uttered his trance trigger and he went deeper - his head dropped forward and his shoulders slumped. Of course I'm aware that a rapid response like this can be perceived as faking, but from their body language and facial expressions during our discussion I was fairly certain that everyone except Thomas was quite positive about what they had heard and would recognize Bill's sincerity.

I reminded Bill how easy it was to accept suggestions when he was under, how eager in fact that he was to do just that, and suggested that he would forget all about the existence of the number 6. After suggesting he would only begin to remember the existence of the number six again when I said it, I brought him up telling him he would feel relaxed and very happy that he was visiting with his new friend Bunk Guy.

He opened his eyes and began smiling. Now Bill smiles and laughs as much as everyone, but he's not the sort to sit around doing the Chesire thing for no reason. I asked him how he felt and his smile grew as he replied, "Great! I'm really enjoying being here." With that reply he elicited smiles from all but Thomas.

I asked Bill if he remembered that he'd been hypnotized and he responded that he did. He admitted, however, that he didn't really remember the suggestions he'd been given. "You didn't tell me to do something totally embarrassing, did you?" he grinned. Lately I've been teasing him that I'm going to hypnotize him and make him do embarrassing things like walk around saying "AFLAC" like the AFLAC duck and quacking. I assured him I had behaved myself fairly well and then asked him if he'd help me. He agreed.

"Can you tell Bunk Guy your phone number?"

"XXX-XX...", he began. Puzzled, he began again. "XXX-XX..."

"6.." I suggested.

"Oh yeah, duh. XXX-XXXX". Everyone except Thomas laughed while Bill continued to look confused. After a moment he laughed as realization struck. "Not bad," he said, laughing a little at himself.

I could see that Thomas was absolutely unimpressed. To say that he had a skeptical look on his face would have been an understatement.

"You seem a bit dubious about all this, Thomas."

"Well you have to admit that's a little hard to believe especially for a really smart guy like me."

I acknowledged that I could see why he felt that way and asked the others what they thought. All four expressed fairly positive remarks, although it was clear they were not wholly convinced. I could understand that and wasn't offended at all. When they asked if I could "do some more", I did an actual induction with Graham. I watched their faces as I did, and again, all but Thomas were intrigued. As the induction continued I could see the non-skeptics relaxing a little. Bunk Guy appeared to be going under a little. Because I wasn't sure if any of them were reaching a place where they were suggestible, when Graham nodded that was completely under I gave him a couple of very benign suggestions and brought him up.

Again all but Thomas were positive. They asked if I could "do" them too so I did a group relaxation induction leaving them with an invisible "tattoo" on the backs of their hands that would immediately take them back to the relaxing place they visited when they were under. Afterward I was really pleased as the overall impression seemed positive indeed.

Well (surprise) - except for Thomas. Finally he seemed unable to contain it any longer. He looked around the room and remarked that he thought hypnosis was nothing more than the behavior of people who were embarrassed either for the hypnotist or themselves if they didn't "play along". He mentioned again how someone as intelligent as him just didn't fall for things like that. In fact, he mentioned how highly cognitive he was at least three times during the afternoon. Poor dear. I was sort of glad he couldn't see the eye-rolls of the others in the room. I felt sorry for him because no one is impressed with someone who feels they have to tell everyone how smart they are.

While his comments about "playing along" didn't bother me - I'm used to hearing the comments some narrow-minded, ill-informed people online have made about hypnosis and hypnodomination - it *really* bothered Bill. He began to tell Thomas about his illness and his experiences with chemo and how he felt hypnosis had essentially kept him alive. Until he began hypnosis sessions, he suffered from anticipatory nausea and vomiting, (he'd get sick a couple of days before he even had his chemo), anxiety-related nausea and vomiting, insomnia, and a high level of anxiety. Hypnosis didn't eliminate his nausea and vomiting - after all, poisons were being pumped into his body - but it did eliminate the avoidable aspects. It also massively reduced his stress level, allowing him to sleep through the night and keeping his body from who knows how much additional damage from the stress.

Thomas remained unimpressed - and that's ok.

Overall, what I had anticipated being a really fun time was an ok time that seemed a bit too much like work. I was disappointed a little, but overall I felt good about Bunk Guy's reaction and that was my reason for going in the first place. He called me on Monday and told me that his "tattoo" had helped him relax quite a bit in a *very* tense situation, allowing him to be calm enough to do what he needed to do. He was very happy with that and so was I.

Remember the Bunk Guy?

We're going to see the Bunk guy this afternoon. (I really need to come up with a nicer way to refer to him.) Bill and Graham are both going with me to be my subjects. I thought I would start with hypnotizing them, then move on to the Bunk guy. After that, all the Bunk guy's friends should feel more relaxed about the situation and more accepting.

I'll write later tonight or tomorrow sometime to let you know how it went. Right now I'm concentrating on choosing fun suggestions ;) Any thoughts on what I should do with a room full of male hypnosis subjects? (Now, now - not those kind of suggestions. I need G-rated ones ;)

"Hypnosis is a Lot of Bunk", He Says

Monday I went to the book store in search of a change of scenery and perhaps a little bit of fun. When I arrived there were a handful of people there that I had chatted with in the past. After catching up on all the recent happenings in everyone's lives, we began chatting about the books we were considering purchasing that day.

When someone asked me, I casually remarked that I was planning on perusing the hypnosis books. One of the fellows sitting across from me, a retired gentleman who is quite intelligent, remarked that hypnosis was a lot of bunk. I almost smiled whenever he said this, because when he did, he leaned forward, his eyes on my face. Usually when someone leans in, it indicates interest and it was pretty obvious that in spite of his naysaying - he was interested. The others indicated varying levels of interest and a variety of opinions on the subject, but none as interested or as outwardly negative as him.

We began discussing what hypnosis was and wasn't. Throughout most of the discussion I leaned in towards him just a bit and frequently made eye contact. Yes, I confess, I lowered the volume of my voice so he had to focus on what I was saying and was amused to see him lean in a bit more. I explained how simple being hypnotized really was and described a few techniques. When I began describing the techniques, I slowed the pace of my speech and kept my eyes almost exclusively on him. I could see him relaxing and it was obvious he was very focused on what I was saying. Finally, I mentioned that I would be glad to demonstrate if there was anyone interested. He nodded and said quietly that he would be willing.

It was pretty clear that he was already a little bit under so taking him the rest of the way was pretty easy using a simple relaxation induction. I gave him a few suggestions about being able to relax when he wanted by remembering that feeling, and brought him up. Afterward he remarked several times about how rested and relaxed he felt and how he couldn't believe how easy it was to listen and to focus on what I was saying.

I had considered giving him a playful suggestion or two, but I didn't want to embarrass him in front of his friends. I told him that next time, however, he was fair game ;)

A little while ago I received a call from one of my female friends who had been there that day. She'd seen this gentleman yesterday and he'd wanted to know if she would contact me and asked if I would be willing to meet with he and a number of his friends to talk more about the subject. She gave me his number and secured a promise that I would call him. It's been awhile since I've had the opportunity to get out and do something with a new group of people so maybe it will be fun.

Not too exciting, I know, but I did promise to blog the story. You were expecting an evil cowgirl story, weren't you? You never know - perhaps soon ;)

I Interrupt This Monday...

with a Terrific Tush Tuesday moment (I missed last week). My friend Robert sent these - thanks Robert :)

I've decided today I have to get out to do something fun so I'm going to visit the bookstore coffeeshop where several of my friends hang out. I met these people at the bookstore and really don't know them from anywhere else. A few years ago we sort of developed a routine of going there a couple of afternoons or evenings a week and would sit in the coffeeshop discussing the books we were reading. Living in a totally nosy area of the world like we do, we found people listening in to our conversations and some began joining in. Somehow this developed into an informal gathering place for people to meet and not only discuss books but current events as well. I always enjoy talking with these people even though we don't really see eye to eye on many things - or maybe because we don't.

It's been awhile since I've hypnotized anyone so I'm feeling the urge. I think I'll broach the subject of hypnosis and see how long it takes for me to steer the conversation to prompt someone to volunteer to be hypnotized. I admit it - I'm a ham. I really like hypnotizing people in front of a crowd so it should be an amusing moment or two.

I'll let you know later what happens.

Pony Play and Hypnosis

Leave it to Fox to feature both hypnosis and pony play in one TV episode.

Earlier tonight Bill was watching a recently TiVoed episode of Bones. Usually I don't watch this show because it's pretty revolting and CSI-ish (rotting bodies with disgusting things crawling around in eye sockets, etc.), but I admit "Back in the Saddle" caught my attention about 10-11 minutes into the show. At that point we note that Bones and her FBI partner are investigating a murder that may have occurred at the Ambassadora Bed & Breakfast. The interesting part? The Ambassadora caters to those who engage in adult pony play.

I'd comment on my impressions of this episode, but I think I'll wait a couple of days and give those who missed it the opportunity to watch it first. AOL offers a link that allows for online viewing. (You have to put up with commercials - sorry. I couldn't find it anywhere else except for the FOX website. That site wants you to install software which requires you to agree to their terms of service without letting you read said terms.) To skip the gore in the beginning and move directly to the first pony play segment, you can move the scroll bar beneath the video window so that you begin watching about 11 minutes into the episode.

In addition to the pony play feature there is also a secondary story-line in which one of the supporting characters is hypnotized to remember the name of the man she married. (Don't ask, I have no idea why she didn't know his name.) The hypnosis segment was small but might prove interesting to those of you who are hypnosis fans.

Kinky Hypnodomme Fantasies

Recently one of my website visitors asked, "What is the kinkiest thing you think about?"

When I read the question I thought, "Oh that will be an easy one to answer", but the more I thought about it, the more difficult it was to pick the kinkiest. There are many kinky things I think about - cages, anal play, multiple slaves serving me, knife play (more as roleplay with a blunt knife), long term bondage, and quite a bit more. How does one decide which is awarded that badge of kinkiest?

Kidnapping and enslaving through hypnosis a very intelligent, strong man is one of the kinkier things that occasionally occupies my fantasies. Perhaps he's someone who works for me occasionally and every time I see him I am impressed with his intellect and the strength he seems to possess. I want him so I will have him.

One day he steps into my office to drop off a report and I mention that I need some help with a computer problem. He slips into my chair and I look over his shoulder as he tinkers with my Windows settings looking for a non-existent problem. Whispers in his ear, soft and seductive, so very hypnotic- he's soon under my spell. Completely unable to resist. Able only to obey.

We leave the building and head directly to my home. Throughout the entire evening we merely talk. We discuss everything. Music, politics, literature, views on sex - everything. His mind is so quick and his ability to articulate amazes me. His quiet strength is always apparent. Before long we've talked through the night and I've discovered that he is indeed the one.

At daybreak he half-heartedly mentions leaving but quickly acquiesces to my soft instruction that he stay. As the day passes I hypnotize his tired but happy mind several times. Soft, persuasive words can be so difficult to resist even for the strongest man.

By the end of the day, tired and slightly dazed from so much caressing of his mind, he agrees to allow me to hypnotize him even deeper. I must explore what lies in the depths of his mind. Surely kinky desires reside there... I think they reside in everyone.

Before long I've coaxed his most secret desires from him. He wants to be taken - body and mind. He knows he's strong, but he dreams of a woman so much stronger that he is unable to resist her. He smiles because he realizes that I am that woman.

A deeper look reveals a variety of mildly kinky desires. Bondage, especially the sort of bondage where he is totally helpless, followed by such seductive teasing that he is left begging.. pleading. I adore that he is so eager to beg.

He wants to watch. Watching turns him on so much! Bound and watching as I slowly undress, first caressing my body and then pleasuring my body. My soft moans of ecstasy fill him with such an intense desire to touch but he's helpless to do so.

Pleasing - oh yes he wants so much to please and to be used in whatever way I desire. Surrendering himself completely to my wishes. Pleasuring my body as only one so devoted can. He knows better than any before him how to please me orally and in so many other ways.

It's ok that his desires are only mildly kinky. He's given me what I want most - I've enslaved him merely with words. He'll soon find that his desires have expanded to match mine. After all a slave is always eager to give his Mistress whatever she desires. And this slave isn't going anywhere. He's mine for as long as I wish.*

~~~~~~~
Question left on the survey/polls section of my website. You may leave your question there as well.
*No, I'd never do anything like this but it's certainly an exciting fantasy to consider.
Preparing for Your Hypnosis Session
Arafinwe offered the following suggestions for preparing for a hypnosis session:
I have found several things helpful to getting the most out of a trance. Not eating a large meal directly before. Not drinking any alcohol directly before. Some physical exercise that gets the heart and lungs pumping within about two hours before. Trancing in a slightly relaxed sitting position, (in a chair that leans back a bit and supports the head), as opposed to lying prone. Not watching TV within an hour before. Not driving in city traffic within an hour before.
In short, don't do things that agitate the mind or act as a soporific to the body. Do things which invigorate the mind without over stimulating it, or rest the mind, shortly before trancing. Also, exercise seems to help just because it gives the body a good shot of energy to feed off when later in trance.
Excellent suggestions, Arafinwe :)
What's The Story?
Image by Killerfall
Lady Julia's note:
Periodically I'll post a photo in my YahooGroup and then pose the question, "What's the Story?" Below is one of the more recent creations submitted. Nicely done, Hypnoboth.
What story do you see in the photo?
By Hypnoboth
The men around the table were faceless in the single light from above. Only their voices identified them.
"He has resisted our strongest warriors. How can we bind him for the Inquisition?"
"By using something other than a warrior."
"You speak in riddles."
"No. There are powers other than arms."
"Stop prattling, old man. I want practical answers, not vague generalities."
"Then stop thinking with your crotch. I will have him bound by sundown."
A short silence.
"He has defeated my finest. Do not promise what you cannot deliver."
"I say it again. By sundown."
"A hundred gold pieces says you lie."
"Done."
And there was silence.
She was small and delicate, with dark hair and white skin. She moved in a way that seemed to show the supple body beneath the modest robe she wore. In defiance of convention, she was alone in the square. She sat down in the small inn and when the wife of the innkeeper came to her and asked her in a dubious voice what she wanted, ordered watered wine. Then she buried her face in her hands.
To approach an unaccompanied woman defied convention just as much as being unaccompanied. Her evident distress was too much to bear. The soldier was of good family, and happened to be alone. He spoke to her. "Pardon me, Miss, but you seem distressed."
She looked up at him doubtfully. A soldier speaking to a young woman could have only one thing on his mind. "Please, sir. Do me no harm." The innkeeper's wife hovered in the doorway uncertainly.
"You mistake me. You seem so very troubled. I mean no discourtesy."
Her face remained doubtful. "Thank you, sir, but my troubles are beyond your help."
"Are you so sure? I am a skilled warrior."
"My difficulties are not of this world."
He seated himself. "Surely there are parts of your troubles a strong arm can help."
"I think not, good sir."
"Please tell me. Perhaps I can assist."
She looked at him again. Her eyes were dark and large. "Good sir, my family was visited by a stranger. He came to my father, and my father sent for me. The stranger looked deeply into my eyes. He spoke of how weary I was. He said how good it is to relax deeply. He said how strangely heavy my eyes looked, as yours look now good sir, and how difficult it is to keep them open. He said to me, how sleepy you are, and how good it is to sleep deeply. Yes, to sleep and dream, to dream of soft and gentle things, good sir. Such gentle sleep as we have not felt since childhood, soft beds and warm fires, when your eyelids get heavy and your eyes close, yes good sir, like that, your eyes close and you dream, dream on and on........
He awoke chained to the wall of the Inquisitor's cell. She was against his chest, her eyes closed. "Thank you, good sir. Your heart is pure, and your motives are pure." She pressed her lips against his chest, and he moaned. "Please, sir, confess quickly. I should be sorry to think I caused you overmuch pain." She turned and ran away
quickly, and he moaned again.
The Inquisitor moved forward. The smell of hot iron filled the air.
Hypnosis and Pain Control
Yesterday someone in my YahooGroup asked if hypnosis could help with pain control and if the relief could be instantaneous. My answer is an emphatic "yes".
As many of my readers know, I am a live-in nurse for a man who has cancer. We use hypnosis for dealing with the anticipatory nausea people get with chemo and for pain related to side effects from his medication. For him, it doesn't happen "instantly" and because we're talking about chemicals (poisons in a sense) in his body, it doesn't always eliminate the nausea after chemo. At one time for 2-3 days prior to chemo he would start getting sick just thinking about what was going to happen. We've totally eliminated that thanks to hypnotic suggestion. We've also managed to reduce the after chemo nausea but haven't totally eliminated it. Even though he still gets sick we both agree that it doesn't seem nearly as bad as it did prior to the onset of his hypnosis sessions.
Bill has a physical trigger where either he or I rub the back of his hand and he begins to go to a very relaxed place... a very comfortable place.. a very suggestible place. I then use a lot of guided imagery (imagining the pain or nausea leaving his body, imagining it being absorbed like a sponge and him seeing himself throwing the sponge away, etc). You use what works for the person as some people find imagining specific things easier than others. We also use a "dial" that he can see and turn down the pain and the nausea. For kids with cancer, it's common to use "pac-men" inside their bodies eating up the cancer cells.
I would definitely recommend using caution when thinking of taking away pain through the use of hypnosis because pain is a warning sign from the body (usually) that something is wrong. For example, pain in a sprained ankle is there to keep us off of it so we don't injure it more. (Once the person has enough sense to stay off it, I use hypnosis to minimize the pain and often give the suggestion that any "unnecessary pain" will slip away.) Frequent headache pain could be a symptom of high blood pressure, malignancy, etc. I use hypnosis for pain control for the rare headache without asking a Dr. but for anything that someone would normally seek medical advice the person should always do so. After being diagnosed then you know when it's safe to take away the pain.
There's a particular imagery suggestion that I've heard used quite often. It's called the "Glove of Analgesia" (analgesia means the absence of pain). The suggestion is given that the subject can use this glove on the area of pain and that the pain will numb or fade away thanks to the wonderfully soothing glove of analgesia. "You may keep this glove with you in your mind and when the pain returns or increases, you may place it on the source of your pain once again - feeling that wonderfully soothing release of pain once more..." (Again all precautions about use should apply when using suggestions such as these.)
The Garden of MC
I've heard of a new forum for mind control fiction and thought I would pass the link on to those hypno/mind control fans out there. According to one of the forum moderators RedHeadedNymph, members of the The Garden of MC "do a fair amount of creative writing on our forum, as well as role play, discussion of photos/art, discussion of real life hypnosis, and other topics."
More on Male Orgasm and Ejaculation
My post on "Male Orgasm and Ejaculation Without Physical Stimulation" elicited some interesting comments both here and in my YahooGroup (the discussion there has been far more involved.) Is it possible, isn't it possible, is it harmful, why do it... so many questions.
I initiated this discussion because I thought it was playful and interesting. I personally had no need to prove anything scientifically - I've witnessed it first hand. However, I know there are some people who have a more analytical mind, so I thought I would ask an expert.
The following was posed to Dr. Stephen Leslie on Allexperts.com (Dr Leslie has been a practicing Urologist for 20 plus years).
Question: "Is it physiologically possible for a male to orgasm and/or ejaculate
without direct physical stimulation (no touching whatsoever)? (Not a wet dream
and not a teenager - an adult male.) An example would be a man being erotically
hypnotized or stimulated watching porn or listening to extremely erotic words."
Dr Leslie's response: "It's possible but very uncommon. Nocturnal
emissions are examples of ejaculation without physical stimulation."
So - it's possible. Very uncommon - probably so, although I'm doubting that there's been any study of this phenomenon :)
Someone suggested this could actually be harmful to the male, however as my friend Mark pointed out in a comment in my Yahoo Group, how could it be any more harmful to a relationship, procreation, etc than masturbation would be?
Why do it? Because I wanted to see if I could :) And.. wow... talk about the ultimate control over your submissive's body! The rush I felt when it happened was and remains almost indescribable! Would I want to do this all the time? Of course not. In fact, I think we've only done this a couple of times. The rarity of it makes for a super hot time ;)
How do we do it? Actually, I did not even use hypnosis to achieve this in person. For a number of days (less than a week) he was not allowed to touch. During this time I teased him in a number of ways. A lot. REALLY A LOT. Super sexy teasing at random and unexpected times. I made sure he knew who controlled his body and just how much I controlled it. On the day he was finally allowed to release, he was allowed to because he pleaded to do so (oh my goodness what a turn-on). There was no touching, no sheet or clothing touching him, no friction of any kind. Was he lying perfectly still? Of course not. His hips were moving up and down just like they would have been had we been having coital sex. He was DESPERATE for release.
I've been told by a number of other fellas that they have experienced similar. I have no reason to believe those close to me would lie, so I accept what they've said. Many have reported experiencing this sort of release when listening to my hypnosis MP3s.
I think physiology, belief and desire play a big part in experiencing this phenomenon. Physiologically some men have difficulty with ejaculation even in the most "standard" of circumstances. This may or may not be something that can be changed (I think for some it can). I definitely believe it can't happen for someone who thinks it can't. Again, this is something that can be changed for many.. it may just take the right amount of persuasion ;)
Training
Your quickened breathing and perfectly held position signals that you're ready. My eyes glance over the items resting on the table nearby. Black leather paddle, graduated anal plugs, a nice long dildo, candles, ice, lube, and more. You could easily list every item for your racing mind is reviewing the possibilities for each. Which will I use? Will I use any?
I chuckle softly in delight as I notice your body trembling just a little in anticipation.
A crook of my finger bids you closer. That's right, crawl to me. Slowly. I love watching your body as you do. There... stop right there. Perfect.
I stand and slowly walk around your body, inspecting my property. God I love your body. You're so incredibly sexy and I love how your body responds when I touch you. Yes... just like that... my hand caresses the curve of your behind and your cock - my cock - twitches.
The number two anal plug. That's today's adventure. A bit bigger than the last time but something I know you'll enjoy. That bit of pressure, a feeling of fullness. A constant reminder while it's in place that I own all of you and enjoy all of you.
Deep breath Darling... take a nice deep breath and the exhale slowly as I take possession of your body. I smile as your gasp reaches my ears. Such a good boy. So obedient. So very pleasing to your Mistress.
As I walk back to my chair and sit... so close to your face now... I can see the pleasure and excitement dancing across your face. The tautness of my nipples and the wetness between my thighs offer testimony that this excitement and pleasure is mutual.
Come closer still my Darling. As my thighs spread, my skirt lifts to reveal that I am pantyless.
It's time to taste. My well trained pet - you know exactly how to please your Mistress. Your tongue and lips so warm, so eager to please. Each soft cry that escapes my lips excites you a bit more... your muscles clinching... gripping that hardness in your behind. A bit of precum moistens the tip of your stiff cock. Yes, that's right. My pleasure is your pleasure. So close. Your excitement building. So very close... Just one caress and you would release. However, that's not our goal, is it? My hands grip the back of your head as my body shudders in release. Your body stiffens. So very close...
But... alas... not this time, my Darling. We'll continue your training. Conditioning you both hypnotically and physically. My pleasure is your pleasure. Pleasing me feels so very good. One day soon my cries of pleasure will trigger your release. Until then, we'll enjoy the training.
Maintaining Perspective
(I can't remember where I found this photo so if I lifted it from your blog or site, I'm sorry for not crediting you. I just loved it!)
Recently I received the following email from a man who had joined my YahooGroup and downloaded at least some of my MP3s. I attempted to ask his permission to quote him but his return email account is closed. To protect his privacy I've removed anything that I believe could identify him so that his words could be heard.
"I was just getting more and more interested in erotic hypnosis, and have only recently begun to listen to files. However, I noticed that they took up so much of my time, and get me into a different reality.
Though this is interesting to explore, I also know that it can be dangerously seductive. And since my girlfriend is away for a longer time, I cannot allow myself this to happen now. Just after i read some of your ethics txt files on your site, i decided to delete my account, delete all MP3's and wait for exploration till the two of us are together again.
Since you are concerned and ethical about this subject, I do feel that you might like hearing this. Thus without knowing you, I am very grateful, since you might have just saved a lot of nasty things from happening. "
I completely understand and applaud this man's respect for his girlfriend and for himself. Exploring hypnotic D/s is almost indescribably exciting but it should never be allowed to interfere with one's life or with one's relationships. Since this is an issue for him, he should indeed wait for the direction of his Mistress. When they're together, perhaps she can use the MP3s and/or hypnosis as a tool.
When considering the use of any hypnotic D/s MP3s or sessions, listen and explore reasonably. If you:
  • are listening for hours a day
  • find you're becoming consumed with thoughts of the hypnotist/Domme
  • are consumed with reading about hypno D/s online
  • find you're spending money you can't afford in order to buy MP3s or 1:1 sessions from someone
  • find that your relationships are suffering
  • find you're neglecting your responsibilities
then things have gone too far. Some initial excitement and enthusiasm isn't unexpected but things should quickly settle into a reasonable quantity of time and effort being expended in this area.
Early Sunday Morning
It's the wee hours of the morning. Since I'm lying here wide awake I thought I would take a few minutes and share a couple of random things with you.
Has anyone tried Blogger Beta? I like the labels feature. It's particularly good for those blogs that are maintained for awhile. From time to time I want to find posts and simply cannot. Perhaps the new labels feature will help. There are several problems with it though. My RSS feed for this blog isn't working now and there's also a problem with it not showing paragraph breaks even though I've put them in. I had to go back and manually add the code to make them show up.
Sue - loved your Grapes of Dommes post. Laugh out loud funny in a few spots ;) Very entertaining throughout. You do have quite a following, by the way. I've received a number of emails asking if I was aware of you work and if I knew how to contact you.
For all you hypnosis fans, I've captured two different hypnosis clips from Sherlock Holmes and the Woman in Green. I'd considered putting them on YouTube but I was afraid I'd get nabbed for copyright violation. Happily I found them both online. If you have no desire to view the entire movie, choose the download option for parts IV and V. Watch part IV at approximately 6 minutes in and watch part V at approximately 2 1/2 minutes in.
