Thank you everyone for the messages and thank you William for the poem.

We found out yesterday my father's illness has progressed to a very aggressive form of Leukemia. He's going to be treated at a big university hospital a few hours from where we live. Bill and I are going with Mom and will be staying with her as they said Dad could be in the hospital for at least a month.

I'm not sure what will happen or when I will write again but I will be back. I need this. I care about many of you. So many of you are wonderful and I treasure your friendship very much.

Please.. keep us in your thoughts and/or prayers. I knew this would be difficult but I don't think I could fathom just how much.

Sorry for the depressing post but there are a lot of you who have called or written and I didn't want to leave you in the dark or make you think I didn't care.
