Skypecast With Me Tonight

I find that I have a bit of free time this evening. Since there are so many of you that I'd like to catch up with and so little time to do so, I thought that I would invite any of you that wish to join me in a Skype voice chat. You don't have to speak if you are too shy - you may simply join and listen (of course I'd be very pleased to hear from each of you!) ;)


WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

To gain access to this skypecast, email me for the link by 7:50pm CST.

Skype is a free program.

You may download it at http://skype.com/download/skype/windows/ if you are a windows user. There is also a mac version if you are a mac user. The URL for it is linked from the page listed above.

Once you have installed chat, choose an ID and register it.

After you have registered it, log in.



Go back to this email/post and click on the link I sent you.

On that page, click on "Sign in to join"

Sign in using your user name and password.

Next the directions are a little iffy because Skype sometimes has a bug. You may at this point have the option join the skypecast. If you do, great, click in and join. You may get a message saying skype cannot find the room you are looking for. Go back and click again on the link I emailed to you and click "join this skypecast"

You should be there at this point. If you have trouble add lady_julia44 as your contact and I will try to help you.


The time for this skypecast will be 8:30pm central time until about 10pm. I know that is late for some but it is as early as I can do it.

If I am not there at the appointed time, check back here to see if something happened and I couldn't make it after all or in case I will be late. (A couple of difficult situations are occurring in my life right now and I can't absolutely predict something won't happen to prevent me from being here.)
