Another Update

Lady Julia asked me to post that she continues to be away. She has had a relapse and has not felt up to doing anything online since her last post. She is not quite as ill as she was but the doctor has told her to rest. As you can imagine she has done so with great reluctance.

Merry Christmas

Hi everyone. I'm guessing you were wondering if I'd ever post again. As Bill has shared, I've been pretty sick. I'm still not feeling well but the doctor said if I am compliant with his instructions I should be feeling better by the first of the year.

I'm going to have to move my story contest deadline to mid January so that I can read the stories when I feel better. I know this is disappointing to a number of you, but it does give you the opportunity to submit more entries ;) The more you enter, the more times you are registered to win the drawing.

To everyone who has written emails, I'll write when I'm better. Thank you so much for your concern. I've thought a lot over the past few weeks about what's really important and top on my list is having people in my life that care about me.

I hope that your holidays are wonderful and that new year brings you much love, peace, and happiness.

About Lady Julia

Lady Julia is recovering but it is a much slower process than we had imagined. She had hoped within a week of her last surgery to be feeling significantly better but it does not appear that this will be the case. The good news is we do not believe she will require further surgery.

She sends her best wishes and will write whenever she feels able. She is hoping by Christmas to feel up to spending at least a small portion of time with her family.

Update About Lady Julia

Lady Julia's surgery was hurriedly moved up to very early this morning. She is now home and resting. She must be feeling a little better because before she went to sleep she asked me to post this and instructed me to make certain I chose a "lovely picture for my blog" when I made this entry. She is fond of this one sent to her by ginger and it reminds me of the Lady resting.

She will be recovering for several days so if she doesn't feel like updating you then I will do my best to fill in the gaps.

I haven't been around much this week and I pretty much haven't touched my email. Because I've gotten a few "are you ok - you've been too quiet" phone calls, I thought I'd better post. I've been pretty sick the past few days but the good news is I'm having surgery on Tuesday to determine the cause of the pain and hopefully fix this. It should be minor surgery (in and out in the same day) unless they find something once they get in there. I'll have Bill post an update Wednesday if I don't feel up to it. Emails will just have to wait - I'm sorry about that.
