(Image creator unknown - thanks ginger for sending it to me)I haven't been around much this week and I pretty much haven't touched my email. Because I've gotten a few "are you ok - you've been too quiet" phone calls, I thought I'd better post. I've been pretty sick the past few days but the good news is I'm having surgery on Tuesday to determine the cause of the pain and hopefully fix this. It should be minor surgery (in and out in the same day) unless they find something once they get in there. I'll have Bill post an update Wednesday if I don't feel up to it. Emails will just have to wait - I'm sorry about that.

May your operation go well and fix whatever is ailing you. Don't worry about not attending to all those emails, ... your friends are a patient bunch. Rest when you need to and write when it feels like the correct time.
It's snowing like crazy here and the power and internet may go out at any time, so I just wanted to send you this quick message. I love the snow, and no power is not a big problem, but no internet feels so isolating.
