Pheww ! Where does one start?
It is such a cliche but Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen I like. Eric Claptons, Tears in Heaven for his son Conor, was simple but piognant. If I go on, I will fill the comments page.
Coincidently music is very trance like, Do you have a most hypnotic song/video? The opening guitar riff of Deep Purples, Smoke on the Water, comes to mind.
I love the words in it........"he loves my heart" this is sooooo true of Mr Spider and its just as well as all the other things can fail, sag and wrinkle but who I am within will always remain :-)

Nigel, I can't really think of any hypnotic videos. As for hypnotic songs, I like a lot of Loreena McKennitt's stuff (like Mystic Dream) and also some of Enya's recordings (like Watermark). I'll have to think more about this question though and see if I can't come up with a more comprehensive list :)
