Were this the only way one saw the FemDom world then it would be perhaps a narrow view. FemDom, as I'm learning, is much more about respecting that one's Domme is in control, that pleasing Her is the prime directive, that submitting to Her pleases Her, that your pleasures only derives from Her pleasure in your obedience, and that your pleasure is Hers to give or withold.
This said, it seems submission can take many forms, from simple obedience to her words to relinquisjing control through bondage, and more.
As long as it is what she wants all would seem well. If however, the submission is intended only to derive one's own pleassure by having Her take a Domme role, if giving her pleasure is not the first priority, then that would almost seem to be him taking advantage of Her, and that would seem contrary to the prime directive.
I hope I'm at least a little bit close to understanding.

There was a time when the culinary arts were a time of reflection and contemplation but this concept was replaced by that famous one liner "it takes two hands, to handle a whopper!"
Wonderfully funny Julia. I thought the part about "I don't want a meal. I just want a toy." was especially clever and correct. That's exactly what many "submissive" men want. Not the entire dynamic but only the parts they like. If this is what they want and the woman is ok with it then everything is good but it isn't femdom. Logically this cannot be deemed as a man submitting since he is dictating what happens and in reality is forcing his wife to submit.
Thomas has a point, as does TVH, Yes the parody is funny but as most go it lacks the full dynamic of the topic,Were this the "real deal" than by all means put a price on it and at least get some satisfaction from offering a service, or product

Dag, I suppose I should have written it with the help of someone who is truly funny :)
My point was this. If the submissive's desires drive how everything is done and the Domme simply takes his order so to speak, then who is really in control? I'm not meaning that the Domme shouldn't take his wants and needs into consideration, but I see so many talking about their interactions with their vanilla partners and essentially they are telling the partner how to dominate them (not even just telling them but pushing them). As Thomas said, if this works for them, fine, but I'd think it would be confusing to a vanilla woman to hear, "I want you to be in control AND here is exactly how I want you to do it."
This isn't just evidenced in relationships. It's also very apparent in how many men behave online. I'm not putting them down or being mean, but I think many really simply do not understand how to approach a dominant woman. Telling me that I now own them, that I now control their sexuality, etc without me even requesting it (or in fact, even knowing who they are) is not really letting me be in control, is it?
