More on Male Orgasm and Ejaculation

My post on "Male Orgasm and Ejaculation Without Physical Stimulation" elicited some interesting comments both here and in my YahooGroup (the discussion there has been far more involved.) Is it possible, isn't it possible, is it harmful, why do it... so many questions.

I initiated this discussion because I thought it was playful and interesting. I personally had no need to prove anything scientifically - I've witnessed it first hand. However, I know there are some people who have a more analytical mind, so I thought I would ask an expert.

The following was posed to Dr. Stephen Leslie on Allexperts.com (Dr Leslie has been a practicing Urologist for 20 plus years).

Question: "Is it physiologically possible for a male to orgasm and/or ejaculate
without direct physical stimulation (no touching whatsoever)? (Not a wet dream
and not a teenager - an adult male.) An example would be a man being erotically
hypnotized or stimulated watching porn or listening to extremely erotic words."

Dr Leslie's response: "It's possible but very uncommon. Nocturnal
emissions are examples of ejaculation without physical stimulation."
So - it's possible. Very uncommon - probably so, although I'm doubting that there's been any study of this phenomenon :)

Someone suggested this could actually be harmful to the male, however as my friend Mark pointed out in a comment in my Yahoo Group, how could it be any more harmful to a relationship, procreation, etc than masturbation would be?

Why do it? Because I wanted to see if I could :) And.. wow... talk about the ultimate control over your submissive's body! The rush I felt when it happened was and remains almost indescribable! Would I want to do this all the time? Of course not. In fact, I think we've only done this a couple of times. The rarity of it makes for a super hot time ;)

How do we do it? Actually, I did not even use hypnosis to achieve this in person. For a number of days (less than a week) he was not allowed to touch. During this time I teased him in a number of ways. A lot. REALLY A LOT. Super sexy teasing at random and unexpected times. I made sure he knew who controlled his body and just how much I controlled it. On the day he was finally allowed to release, he was allowed to because he pleaded to do so (oh my goodness what a turn-on). There was no touching, no sheet or clothing touching him, no friction of any kind. Was he lying perfectly still? Of course not. His hips were moving up and down just like they would have been had we been having coital sex. He was DESPERATE for release.

I've been told by a number of other fellas that they have experienced similar. I have no reason to believe those close to me would lie, so I accept what they've said. Many have reported experiencing this sort of release when listening to my hypnosis MP3s.

I think physiology, belief and desire play a big part in experiencing this phenomenon. Physiologically some men have difficulty with ejaculation even in the most "standard" of circumstances. This may or may not be something that can be changed (I think for some it can). I definitely believe it can't happen for someone who thinks it can't. Again, this is something that can be changed for many.. it may just take the right amount of persuasion ;)

I'm no expert but I recalled that there are a number of chemicals at play in the brain during sexual excitement and orgasm both in males and females. This exceprt below from a web search (Thorson's) may expain how, in men, if the right conditions can be induced by mental rather than physical stimulation then the chemical sequence can be triggered, and ...

Orgasm

The first stage of orgasm, the excitement phase, occurs when stimuli from a number of sources (psychological, tactile, visual, olfactory, etc.) raise sexual interest and trigger an erection. (See erections.)

During sexual intercourse, increased amounts of the hormone adrenaline and its relative, noradrenaline (a neurotransmitter), are released from the adrenal glands. This increases the heart rate and the amount of blood pumped through the heart with each contraction. Palpitations may be felt and blood pressure rises. Breathing becomes rapid and flushing of the face and chest is common, along with perspiration. The nipples become erect and the scrotal skin thickens and contracts. The testes are reflexly drawn up towards the base of the penis and may increase in volume by as much as 50 per cent due to congestion with blood. The thickness of the penis at the coronal ridge of the glans increases to improve friction, and drops of lubricating fluid from Cowper's glands ooze out of the tip of the penis. These changes all occur during the plateau phase of orgasm, which can last from a few seconds to several minutes, even as long as an hour if sexual intercourse is deliberately prolonged. If the level of stimulation is inadequate, orgasm does not occur and sexual arousal will subside. If stimulation is adequate, the physical effects noted during the plateau phase become more intense and culminate in orgasm.

The orgasmic phase consists of an intensely pleasurable sensation variously described as emanating in the brain, the penis, the testicles or everywhere. It is accompanied in the male by a varying number of major muscle contractions (typically 38) followed by several smaller ones. Nerve impulses spread via the pudendal nerves and cause rhythmic, wave-like contractions of the pelvic floor muscles and sometimes of the thigh muscles as well. Contraction of muscles lining the reproductive tract propel sperm up from the testes and out through the penis. Male orgasms usually last from 3-10 seconds, and rarely longer than 15 seconds.

During orgasm, a number of brain chemicals are released: prolactin hormone, phenylethylamine (also found in chocolate) and endorphin. The latter two are addictive, and abstinence may result in cravings and mild depression.

Heart rate and blood pressure peak during orgasm, and hyperventilation is common. The rectal sphincter may contract and involuntary vocalizations occur as pleasurable sensations wash through the body.

To paraphrase Casey Stengel: sex is 90% mental, the other half is physical.

I don't have anything useful to add really but am so glad to see you once again prolific and writing with your distinctive tone and approach.

It's very possible... in fact it happens to young men all the time.

As we age it becomes more difficult, but it's no less possible.

The brain is, after all, the largest sex organ, and it's from the brain that the orgasm is ultimately triggered.

If we can separate orgasm, and ejaculation, why not physical stimulation from orgasm?

The thought of my partner making me aroused enough to orgasm without any physical stimulation is, as you said *Hot*... I believe serious research efforts are in order!!

I imagine there would be no shortage of those who would volunteer for the research!

In Julia's group I noticed that there are one or two people who seem extremely adverse to this activity and are unable to recognize the appeal. Obviously physical stimulation in almost every circumstance but this would feel much better than ejaculation without the stimulation. The exception would be for someone who was submissive and who was able to cognitively grasp the complete level of control his Mistress had over his body at that moment.

I would wager even most vanilla men would appreciate the "let's try and see if we can make this happen" aspect.
