Untitled Poem

Relax She says
As if I have the choice
I am already settled into that calm center
Where Her voice is the brightest star in the sky
The Japanese have a saying:
If you seek enlightenment, chop wood and carry water
The most mundane tasks can carry us to wisdom
But tonight I am focused on how Her nails must be the most perfect red
I make each brush stroke more perfect than the last
When you are grooming a Goddess
Can you afford to let imperfection show?
