Thanks for the compliment on this post; there's some of that so-called wisdom of personal experience in there.

I did, though, want to point out that this is not just a problem with couples in a power exchange relationship; every relationship has some degree of this. But there are other issues with non-traditional relationships that tend to compound the problems.
