Trance of the Flowers

I slept in a sea of flowers
that grew to entwine and suggest.
Their fragrance carried You into
my senses. I thought with skin's softness.
My mind was empty of voice and empty
of choice, waiting to be filled with caring.
I took two slow breaths of deeper down
and sang the dreams the flowers sing.
Your words began to settle through the flowers
like the colored shadows of sighs.
I was one with all Your whispers,
gently seduced into wearing Your disguise.
I became the expression of Your art forever
until You deigned to set me free,
unwilling and newly born
from Your ecstasy.
