| SMALL THINGS CAN BE HUGE August 31, 2005 Today, Bill posted the following in my YahooGroup: "I was sitting in front of my computer yesterday, minding my own business and trying to look at this interesting illusion, when I heard a soft voice telling me to keep focusing. "You'll see it if you focus. It's actually relaxing to look at, isn't it?" She said some other things that I don't really remember. I just remember how relaxing it was. After I finished looking at the illusion, I realized I really wanted a strawberry cheesequake blizzard from Dairy Queen. It was odd, because I don't usually like those. Lady Julia does. I'm glad I got one for her, too, because she was very happy with it. Bill (Yes I know she hypnotized me again. I didn't really realize it consciously until after I returned from Dairy Queen. She was chuckling to herself and finally admitted what she'd done.)" I began thinking about this tonight. Since I sprained my ankle, I haven't been the sweetest person in the world. I've been just a tiny bit grumpy and even tearful at times. (It must be so hard to be a man and try to deal with both grumpy AND tearful.) Bill and a few of my friends have been so very kind and helpful. Small things. Bill getting my Blizzard or fixing something for me to drink, another friend letting me cry on the phone to him, others giving advice on what to do to expedite the healing process, still others sending jokes, ecards, and so much more. Small things. They're huge sometimes. Don't forget the small things when you're trying to please your Lady or anyone else for whom you care. They can make all the difference. (Note - this is a perfect example of using hypnosis to train a male submissive to be more attentive. While Bill's not a submissive, the basic principle applies.) |
